Manitoba Snowshoe Run

The Manitoba Snowshoe Run is an annual snowshoe run/stroll that happens at the Selo Ukranian Site south of Dauphin Manitoba. The route is always unique from year to year and with both a 5km or 10km option is a great outing for friends and family. 

Who Can Participate?

Anyone 10 years and older. (People under the age of 18 need parental consent.)

What does it involve?

This race includes a 5 km run/walk and a 10 km run through snowshoe tracks.

Where is it?

Selo (Countryfest and MudRun Site) 11 km south of Dauphin, MB on highway #10.

Why?

To promote physical activity and getting healthy in a fun way.

How Much Does it Cost?

The Manitoba Snowshoe Run costs $25 per participant.

What Should I Bring?

Snowshoes, change of clothes, running shoes or light hiker, long tights or waterproof/breathable tights, Gators, base- mid-light layer jacket, gloves, sunglasses, water bottle.  * Make sure you layer, you will be cold at the start line, but will heat up as soon as you go.

What's The Terrain Like? 

We will be using some of the MudRun trails, so expect to climb in and out of the valley a few times. The trail will include a groomed path, double track, and single track.

- Parking is limited, so please car pool
- Bring ID
- First Aid at Finish line (Selo Hall) and also a course sweep.  We will be able to access anyone on course in the event of emergency- Washrooms, Change rooms, and shelter only available in Selo Hall
- Spectators welcome at the Start/Finish area
